These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through squadstars.co.uk and form the agreement between you and Squad Stars Ltd ("SquadStars", "we", "us" or "our").
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order.
By placing an order through our website, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Our products
SquadStars creates personalised football products using information, photographs and other content supplied by customers.
Because our products are personalised and made specifically for each customer, they may differ from standard off-the-shelf products.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information and content you provide to us is accurate and suitable for use.
This includes, but is not limited to:

player names;
-
team names;
-
photographs;
-
player positions;
-
shirt numbers;
-
colours;
-
statistics;
-
logos;
-
badges; and
-
any other personalised information entered or uploaded during the ordering process.
3. Creating and approving your design
Before your personalised product is produced, you may be given the opportunity to review and approve the final design.
You are responsible for carefully checking the final design before approving your order.
You should check all aspects of the design, including:
-
spelling of names;
-
team names;
-
player names;
-
shirt numbers;
-
photographs;
-
player positions;
-
colours;
-
statistics;
-
logos and badges;
-
layout;
-
quantities; and
-
any other personalised information.
Approval of your order
Once you have approved the final design, we will treat that design as the version you have authorised us to produce.
After approval, we will not normally be able to make changes to the design.
Where an error, omission or other issue is present in the final approved design as a result of information, instructions, photographs or other content supplied or approved by you, we will not be responsible for the resulting error and you may be required to pay for a replacement product if you wish to have the error corrected.
This does not affect your statutory rights. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits your legal rights where the law does not allow us to do so, including your rights in relation to products that are faulty, damaged or do not conform to the contract.
4. Customer responsibility for uploaded content
You are responsible for all content that you upload or provide to us.
This includes photographs, names, team information, logos, badges and other images or materials.
By uploading content, you confirm that:

you have the necessary permission or authority to provide it to us;
-
you have the right to allow us to use it for the purpose of fulfilling your order;
-
the content does not knowingly infringe another person's intellectual property rights;
-
the content is not unlawful, defamatory or otherwise inappropriate; and
-
you are not providing content for a purpose other than creating the product you have ordered.
You must not upload content that is illegal, offensive, abusive, discriminatory, threatening or otherwise inappropriate.
We reserve the right to refuse or remove content that we reasonably believe breaches these requirements.
5. Children's photographs and information
SquadStars products may contain photographs and information relating to children.
SquadStars products are purchased by adults. By uploading a child's photograph or information, you confirm that you have the appropriate authority or permission to provide that information to us for the purpose of creating the product.
We use uploaded photographs and information to create and fulfil your order and, where applicable, to support future re-orders.
We do not publicly display uploaded player photographs or information as part of the normal operation of the website.

6. Team and club logos
SquadStars allows customers to upload team and club logos where the product design permits this.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have permission to use any logo, badge, crest or other protected artwork they upload.
SquadStars does not represent that a customer-uploaded logo is authorised for use by the relevant football club, governing body or organisation.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, SquadStars is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or officially associated with any football club, league, governing body or other organisation whose name, logo or badge may appear in a customer-created product.
We reserve the right to refuse an order where we reasonably believe that supplied artwork or branding may infringe third-party rights.
7. Intellectual property
The SquadStars website, branding, product designs, graphics, text, software and other materials created by SquadStars remain the property of Squad Stars Ltd or our licensors, unless otherwise stated.
You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit SquadStars designs, branding or website content without our written permission.
Where you provide photographs, logos or other artwork to us, you retain responsibility for your rights in that material.
By submitting content, you grant SquadStars permission to use that content solely as reasonably necessary to create, produce and fulfil your order and provide related customer services.
8. Prices
All prices displayed on the website are in pounds sterling (£).
Prices applicable to an order are those displayed at the time the order is placed.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time, but price changes will not affect an order that we have already accepted.
We will make clear any applicable delivery charges before you complete your purchase.
9. Payment
Payment must be made when placing an order unless we have expressly agreed otherwise.
Payments are processed by Stripe.
We do not store your full payment card details on our own systems.
An order will normally only enter production once payment has been successfully received and any required design approval has been completed.
10. Order acceptance
Submitting an order through the website constitutes an offer to purchase the selected product.
We will acknowledge receipt of your order electronically.
An order is accepted when we confirm that we have accepted the order and proceed with production.
We reserve the right to cancel an order before production where, for example:
-
payment cannot be processed;
-
supplied content is unsuitable;
-
supplied content may infringe third-party rights;
-
we are unable to fulfil the order;
-
there has been an obvious pricing or technical error; or
-
we reasonably believe the order has been placed fraudulently.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will provide an appropriate refund.
11. Personalised products and cancellation
Many SquadStars products are personalised specifically for you.
Under UK consumer law, the normal 14-day cancellation right for distance purchases generally does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised.
Where your SquadStars product is personalised, you therefore generally cannot cancel the order simply because you have changed your mind once production has begun.
This does not affect your statutory rights where a product is faulty, damaged or does not conform to the contract.
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will try to accommodate cancellation requests received before production begins, but cancellation may not be possible once production has started.
12. Errors in customer-supplied information
We are not responsible for errors resulting from information or content supplied by the customer.
This includes, for example:
-
misspelled names;
-
incorrect player details;
-
incorrect shirt numbers;
-
incorrect team names;
-
incorrect statistics;
-
incorrect photographs;
-
low-quality photographs supplied by the customer;
-
incorrect colours or design selections;
-
incorrect logos or badges; or
-
any other information that the customer supplied or approved.
Where you have been given the opportunity to review and approve a final design, you are responsible for checking that design before approval.
Once the design has been approved, production will proceed based on that approved version.
13. Photographs supplied by customers
The quality of the finished product may depend on the quality and resolution of photographs supplied by the customer.
We cannot guarantee that a photograph supplied by the customer will reproduce identically to how it appears on their screen.
Differences may occur due to:
-
image resolution;
-
lighting;
-
cropping;
-
screen settings;
-
printing processes; and
-
differences between digital and physical colours.
We will use reasonable care when preparing photographs for production.
14. Production times
We will provide an estimated production or dispatch time where applicable.
Estimated times are not guaranteed delivery dates unless we expressly state otherwise.
Production may occasionally take longer due to circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If there is a significant delay, we will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed.
15. Delivery
We will deliver orders to the address provided during checkout.
You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address is correct.
We are not responsible for delays or failed delivery resulting from an incorrect address supplied by the customer.
Once an order has been dispatched, delivery times may be affected by postal or courier services and other circumstances outside our control.
16. Damaged products
If your product arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide photographs showing the damage and packaging where appropriate.
We will investigate the issue and, where appropriate, provide a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy in accordance with your legal rights.
17. Faulty or incorrect products
If we have made an error in producing your product, or the product is faulty or does not conform to the contract, please contact us.
Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a replacement, repair, refund or another appropriate remedy.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
18. Returns
Because personalised products are made specifically for individual customers, they generally cannot be returned simply because you have changed your mind once production has begun.
However, this does not affect your rights where the product is:
-
faulty;
-
damaged;
-
incorrectly supplied by us; or
-
otherwise does not conform to the contract.
If you believe there is a problem with your order, please contact us and provide details of the issue.
19. Our liability
We will be responsible for losses that you suffer as a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms & Conditions or failing to use reasonable care and skill, subject to your statutory rights.
We are not responsible for losses that:
-
were not foreseeable;
-
were caused by information or content supplied incorrectly by you;
-
resulted from your failure to check and approve the final design;
-
resulted from incorrect photographs, names, numbers or other information supplied by you; or
-
arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
20. Events outside our control
We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
These may include:

severe weather;
-
fire;
-
flood;
-
industrial disputes;
-
power failures;
-
internet or telecommunications failures;
-
failures of suppliers or delivery providers;
-
government action;
-
natural disasters;
-
cyber incidents; or
-
other events that could not reasonably have been anticipated or prevented.
Where such an event occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to minimise its effect and resume normal service as soon as reasonably possible.
21. Website availability
We aim to keep the SquadStars website available and functioning correctly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
We may temporarily suspend access to the website for maintenance, updates, security reasons or other operational purposes.
22. Reviews and customer content
If you submit a review, testimonial or other content for publication on our website or social media channels, you confirm that you have the right to provide that content.
We may moderate or remove content that is unlawful, offensive, misleading, inappropriate or otherwise unsuitable.
We will not publish children's photographs or personal information supplied for the purpose of creating a product as marketing material unless we have an appropriate separate permission or lawful basis to do so.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information.
The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
24. Changes to these Terms & Conditions
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The version applicable to your order will be the version in force when you placed your order.
The latest version will be published on the SquadStars website.
25. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you will also benefit from any mandatory protections provided to you under the laws of the part of the UK in which you live.
